WHAT MAKES OUR OLIVE OIL UNIQUE?

REGENERATIVE ORGANIC FARMING
We champion fully organic farming and leave vast spaces in their natural state to preserve the wild flora characteristic of our region.
The harmony this creates between our olive trees and the Mediterranean scrub infuses our oils with distinct aromas and fragrances, giving them an unmistakable, inimitable character.
It is a slower, more mindful way of working, but it ensures that the pollinators, birds, and small mountain wildlife that have always shared this land can continue to do so.
NOT JUST GOOD OIL, HEALTHY TOO.
Our extra virgin olive oil is rich in polyphenols, natural antioxidants that help protect our cells against ageing.
With an acidity level below 0.2% (well under the 0.8% threshold for extra virgin status), it is a true mark of premium quality, made from healthy, fresh olives pressed immediately after harvest.
It is also composed of 75% oleic acid, a monounsaturated fatty acid known to help lower blood cholesterol levels.

SMALL BATCHES, UNIQUE CHARACTER
All our olives are grown on the hills of Cerchiara di Calabria, a strip of land stretching from the plains bordering the Ionian Sea (part of the Plain of Sibari) right up to the peaks of Mount Sellaro, at the far south-eastern edge of the Pollino National Park.
Every plot of land is distinct: altitude, olive varieties, and wild flora vary dramatically from spot to spot. Our production may be small, but every single batch captures the true essence of its own hillside.
